About Us
Sherri Gullickson
Sherri is the mother of a child diagnosed under the DSM-V with Autism ('ASD'). She is a passionate advocate for the human rights of children with an impairment within education.
Qualifications:
Masters of Management from MGSM and a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree from QUT.
Sherri's recent projects are:
- Successfully argued an exception to a sanction under Public Trustee Act (Qld) s 59 in favour of the applicant in an anti discrimination matter in QCAT.
- Made a submission to 'Reshaping the Disability Services Act 2006 (Qld)' due to the introduction of the NDIS.
- Attended and was involved in disability discrimination in education on the basis of impairment for refusal to enrol at the Anti Discrimination Commission Queensland ('ADCQ')
- Attended and was involved in disability discrimination in education on the basis of exclusion of a student with an impairment matter within the Australian Human Rights Commission ('AHRC')
- Attended and was involved in disability discrimination in education on the basis of refusal to enrol, within Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal ('QCAT')
- Attended and was involved in an injunction to stop the exclusion of a student with impairment enrolled within Federal Circuit Court
